Abstract: The landscape of digital mental health and wellness is rapidly evolving, and for business leaders and executives, understanding the role of cutting-edge technology is essential. As the market for mental health solutions continues to surge, with year-over-year growth exceeding 250% (a16z marketplace), it is imperative to address the pressing challenges that persist post-pandemic. A staggering 42.4% of US adults now experience symptoms of anxiety or depression.
In this 30-minute business session, we delve into the transformative potential of Generative AI (GenAI) in the context of mental health. GenAI is currently the darling of venture capitalists, and its application in the mental health arena offers both promise and pitfalls. Join Dr. Kirstin Aschbacher, CEO of Health and Wellness Consulting, who brings over two decades of expertise to guide you through this intersection.
Explore how GenAI can be harnessed to confront critical business challenges in the digital mental health sector. Imagine the impact on your company's reputation if a user engages with your bot and then experiences a tragic outcome like suicide. Discover strategies to ensure that your chatbot offers empathetic and genuinely supportive interactions, avoiding generic or emotionally awkward responses that drive customer churn.
Moreover, with the growing trend towards insurance coverage for mental health services, incorporating diagnostic assessments is paramount. However, user engagement with assessments is often disappointingly low. Learn how chatbots can provide a novel and engaging approach to improve user participation in clinical outcomes assessment, benefiting both your customers and your bottom line.
Dr. Aschbacher, with her extensive background in health data science, clinical psychology, and direct patient care (ex-Oura, ex-Meru Health, ex-Jawbone, ex-UCSF Associate Professor of Psychiatry & Cardiology, Licensed Clinical Psychologist), draws upon her experience to address these core business challenges.
Join us to discover how GenAI-powered chatbots can enhance customer satisfaction, measure clinical outcomes, and help you navigate the complex landscape of reputational and regulatory risks.
