Abstract: 

The linear regression is a foundational and incredibly powerful tool. However, it is frequently abused and misused (most who wield it simply aren’t aware of the alternatives...)

In “Regression Gone Wrong” I’ll showcase three siblings of the linear regression, demonstrate why you should reach for each, and teach you how you might implement the algorithms into your own workflow.

For those who need a bit more colour, I’m going to specifically focus on poisson regression, multidimensional (not just multivariate) regression, and ordinal regression.
