Abstract: This presentation will explore the value of economic and social networks. Specifically, we will examine two networks –
sell-side analyst coverage networks and corporate board networks. We will use sell-side analyst coverage networks to construct
profitable investment strategies, and quantify the strength of economic relationships between companies. We will then examine the role board networks play in the ESG outcomes of corporations.
