Abstract: The presentation will address the problem of the rapidly growing body of knowledge in biomedicine and healthcare, and the inability of current research methods to scale to accommodate this growth. In contrast with the current status quo in knowledge discovery and acquisition, Causaly will present their Machine-Reading platform, a unique technology capable of extraction and comprehension of causal relationships from natural language. We will show how our system turns this extracted evidence into computable directed knowledge graphs and empowers our users to search for evidence, as opposed to searching for documents, and ask questions that they could not ask to any other tool available today.
Bio: Artur is a computer scientist and intelligent systems expert, with a background in machine learning and bioinformatics.
