Abstract: Millions of companies ship trillions of dollars worth of goods internationally each year. In this talk we'll discuss techniques and challenges faced using machine learning to identify the companies involved in that trade and build a world spanning graph of their relationships from billions of shipment records in multiple languages. We'll also look at some of the insights derived from that graph and what they can tell us about international trade and the global supply chain.
