That building or buying your AI and ML tools comes with pros and cons. While this is NOT a product pitch it's to highlight there are many platforms out there that are integrating popular open source tools to create a platform for data scientist and data engineers. We want the audience to know what to look for and how to decide whether they want to build vs. buy.

Bio: 

Amber began her personal journey into open source in 2009 when she started sharing her insights on Ubuntu through her blog. Over the years, she has contributed to the Ubuntu User Magazine, co-authored The Official Ubuntu Book, and served as a technical reviewer for Jono Bacon's, Art of Community. Amber's leadership was demonstrated as the inaugural Community Manager for Linaro and later in managing the Open Compute Project (OCP) Foundation Community. She also led community engagement for the Zeek Project and served as VP of Community and Marketing at Arrikto. Currently, she advocates for open source as an Evangelist and Community Manager for HPE, Ezmeral Software.

Amber excels in navigating open-source communities, particularly in enterprise-level solutions based on third-party trademarks. With a passion for mentoring rising leaders and fostering inclusivity, she encourages active participation and knowledge expansion in open-source software and hardware. With a smile and sense of humor, Amber reminds everyone that the open-source community welcomes all skill levels.
