Abstract: 

This 1.5-hour session will be a survey through the data science workflow, including different types of algorithms, and to explore common language and misconceptions in the data science industry. The intention of this workshop is to establish a framework for individuals with no data science expertise to come away with a theoretical understanding of the data science landscape and terminology.
