Abstract: 

In this talk we will speak about how to use pandas and PyMC3 to solve a simple data science problem in sports analytics.

Bio: 

Peadar is a Data Scientist at Zopa.com, Open Source Software contributor (PyMC3, SciPy and Pandas), international speaker and author experienced in developing data driven solutions to extract business value. He has diverse experience delivering actionable insights and leveraging Machine Learning at startups such as JobTODAY and large established companies such as Amazon and Vodafone.

In addition to my open source contributions, Peadar also also provides thought-leadership about Data Science and Data Products. His work has been featured on Dataconomy, IrishTechNews and HackersNews. He is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society.
