The Rise of the Cloud Native Spatial Data Scientist

Abstract:

Did you know that almost 94% of enterprise companies already use a cloud service? Yet large amounts of their analysis and data remain in silos, making it challenging for Data Scientists and analytics professionals to quickly and efficiently extract crucial business insights. And as more and more companies turn to location data to predict and optimize outcomes, finding ways to seamlessly create and enrich spatial models will be imperative.

In this talk with CARTO, we’ll walk through how to perform spatial analytics directly in the cloud - whether that’s Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or other solutions such as Databricks. You’ll learn how to easily ingest location data into map visualizations and seamlessly unlock advanced spatial analyses using simple SQL commands, all within your data warehouse of choice.
