
Abstract: While today’s focus is rightfully spent on flattening the curve, those in good health must start to ask what happens after the curve. This question is one for which data science can offer a unique perspective. In this talk, Roger will relate his Do’s & Don’ts experience on manufacturing analytics to reflect on the role data scientists can play in shaping the economic recovery so desperately needed.

Bio: Roger is the Strategy Lead for Oracle Consulting’s manufacturing business unit. He has spent over 20 years helping manufacturing companies find efficiencies in their manufacturing processes and supply chains. Roger has supported manufacturers both large and small through leadership roles in consulting, product management, and customer success. He specializes in understanding the technology opportunities, risks, and change management requirements to drive success on a global scale. Roger holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. When not walking the manufacturing floor, Roger spends time with his wife and four children in Portland, OR.
