Abstract: In the new data-driven age, there are two main problems with data integration. First, a data integration framework is difficult to maintain alone. Second, there are too many data sources for a closed source ETL provider to developer quality connectors for. In this talk, we will discuss how an open-source ETL ecosystem directly addresses both of these challenges and why this approach holds the key for the future of data integration.
